I am always looking for ways to incorporate new elements to bring my kink imaginarium to life. Finding new and unique BDSM tools that are easy on the eyes, safe, and functional is truly exciting to me, and because of this, I was stoked to try out the Holographic Bondage collection.
All of the pieces in this collection are made from a silver shimmering holographic vegan leather backed by white vegan leather with gold-colored metal hardware that feels like it came straight out of a space-age/alien abduction role-play. They all have sturdy D-rings, buttons, or clasps. The material itself is truly holographic. It catches the light and refracts a bright spectrum of colors on a shiny light silver background, even in low light. Unlike other vegan leather bondage gear I’ve tried, the Holographic bondage pieces are flexible without being brittle. The pieces feel substantial and sturdy, which was especially surprising considering how affordable each of the pieces is.
Would these vegan leather holographic pieces actually stand up to some rough play? And, vegan leather… could that possibly be comfortable?
The Holographic Bondage collection brings a much-needed brightness, playfulness, and blast of imagination to my BDSM arsenal, but besides being really cute, I wondered, would these vegan leather holographic pieces actually stand up to some rough play? And, vegan leather… could that possibly be comfortable? I’m glad to say after using all of the pieces in the collection a few times, they all met my criteria for safety, durability, functionality, and comfort. Check out some of the features of each of the pieces that have put them in my current active rotation!
Holographic Bondage Wrist Cuffs and Connector Chain
Let’s start with the centerpiece of this collection: the Holographic Bondage Wrist Cuffs and Connector Chain. These two wrist cuffs can be connected with the included removable 18” connector chain or by looping the strap on one cuff through the D-ring of the other. The basic design of these cuffs is similar to any other leather or vegan leather wrist cuff with an adjustable belt buckle closure with five holes to accommodate wrists from about 8”-10” in diameter. In the center of each cuff, there’s a sturdy D-ring that can be used to connect a chain or clip and join the cuffs.
I found the range of sizing with the pre-punched holes to be really accommodating, and it fits well for both my partner and me, and we have different wrist sizes. However, even at the smallest hole, the cuffs were pretty roomy on smaller wrists. If you have smaller wrists, keep in mind that you might have to punch an additional hole to make them more snug (remember to leave enough space that you can slip a finger between your wrist and the cuff so as to not cut off circulation). The cuffs have plenty of additional space for adding holes to fit both smaller and larger wrists.
I was pleasantly surprised by the flexible and comfortable feel of this vegan leather... and they don’t compromise comfort for durability. These cuffs are sturdy.
The connector chain looks thin and sleek but is very strong and durable. Even with some rough play and struggle, the chain held up with no problem. The clasps that connect the chain to the D-rings on the cuffs are a very simple design where you push to open them, which is great as a quick release and for ease of putting on and taking off. The cuffs are about 1 ⅜” wide. This not-too-thin design is great for dispersing tension when pressure is applied to the cuffs during play because it doesn’t concentrate pressure on too small of an area and is a lot safer (and sturdier) than thinner cuffs without looking too thick or bulky.
When I think of vegan leather, I think of either a material that is either really stiff or way too flimsy and flaky. I was pleasantly surprised by the flexible and comfortable feel of this vegan leather. The edges are smooth and don’t cut into the skin, and they don’t compromise comfort for durability. These cuffs are sturdy. The material remains intact and is also very easy to clean and maintain by wiping them down with a soapy washcloth.
Holographic Bondage Ankle Cuffs
Take all of the perks of the wrist cuffs above, but imagine them a little longer and designed for your ankles instead, and you get the Holographic Bondage Ankle Cuffs. These cuffs range from 10” to 12” in diameter, so they can comfortably fit a range of sizes. Though the ankle cuffs don’t include a connector chain, they can be clipped together at the D-rings with any standard t-snap, carabiner, or connector. You can also loop the strap of one of the cuffs through the D-ring of the other to connect them.
Because each of the clips can be independently removed from the center ring, they can also be used to connect wrist or ankle cuffs to each other as a great alternative to a longer connector chain or if you just want a matching dual-sided connector clip!
I liked pairing the ankle cuffs with the wrist cuffs using the Holographic Bondage Hogtie, which has four clips so you can join all four limbs, but in a pinch, you could also just use two of the clips on the hogtie to connect just the wrists or just the ankles.
The Holographic Bondage Hogtie is a set of 4 clips connected to a center ring that can be used to clip wrist cuffs and ankle cuffs together so you can get your sub in positions where they are pretty much immobilized. This set is especially comfortable because the clips can move around on the center ring, so the person wearing the cuffs can shift around a little in case there are reach issues or if they have trouble holding the position.
The Holographic Bondage Hogtie is very sturdy and versatile. The Holographic Bondage Blindfold shares the same material features as all of the other items in the collection, making it comfortable and durable. Its bold iridescence makes the person wearing it look like a cyborg with really amazing shades. The holographic material is backed by white vegan leather making the blindfold completely opaque. Depending on the fit, no light or visuals can seep through. I personally could see a tiny bit of movement because there was a small gap around where the blindfold met my nose, but it wasn’t enough that I could actually see anything other than light and shadow moving.
This very cool-looking blindfold helped turn the volume way up for sensation play and added an element of surprise and mystery. Perfect for that alien abduction role play!
Everyone’s face is different, so the best way to prevent seeing anything is to close your eyes and not peek! The straps of the blindfold range in diameter from 19”-24”, so it will accommodate different size heads and lengths of hair pretty easily. For $9, this is an amazing value. I loved this very cool-looking blindfold because it helped turn the volume way up for sensation play and added an element of surprise and mystery. Perfect for that alien abduction role play!
This silicone ball gag is comfortable for long-term wear because it has thin silicone extensions that connect the ball to the holographic leather adjustable straps. These slim and rounded silicone arms keep the sides of the mouth more comfortable while being easy to clean. Though the ball isn’t removable for cleaning, it is possible to clean it thoroughly by washing it with soap and water. The bubblegum pink colored silicone has a silky matte finish, so it doesn’t feel too sticky or cling to lint or dust. The ball itself is small-to-average size compared to most ball gags, so it’s great for both beginners and more experienced users. The straps are adjustable from 16.5” to about 23”, so they can accommodate many different sizes and hair volumes!
Like all of the other pieces in this collection, the Holographic Bondage Collar is comfortable, sturdy, and very adjustable. The collar is great both for BDSM play uses and also as a very shimmery accessory. This collar can be adjusted from 13.75”-16.25” to fit a pretty broad range of sizes. Remember when measuring to fit a collar to allow enough space to fit a finger or two between the material and your neck for both comfort and safety. I especially like that the material of the collar isn’t too thick, so it’s pretty comfortable for long-term wear. Holographic Bondage Leash and Chain
The Holographic Bondage Leash and Chain are the perfect accessory to pair with the Holographic Bondage Collar. The chain, which is attached to the lead, is 36” long, so when connected to a collar, there is plenty of room to lead your partner around or pull them closer during play. The chain is thin, but it is really sturdy. Even with some strong pulling, it remains intact and holds up well. The clasp is easy to use and also stays locked easily. Remember when using a collar and leash to only pull forward. Do not tug backward on a collar and leash, as applying pressure to the front of the neck can be dangerous.

Depending on how hard you throw this flogger, you can create varying levels of intensity, so it’s adequate for beginners to more advanced players alike. I have often been disappointed by floggers that are included as parts of collections or sets because they feel like novelty items. This one, however, has a lovely wrapped handle and many tails, making it feel as substantial as it is functional.

The bag, which matches well with the whole line of Holographic Bondage items, fits all of the pieces in this collection perfectly. It’s also just really cute! I find it to be a great way to keep my toys organized and makes for easy clean-up and travel. At just $8, I am tempted to buy extras to organize the rest of my toys. At 11.5” long and 7” tall, it fits well in a backpack and can hold many different types of toys and accessories.
The Holographic Bondage collection, with all of its BDSM tools and accessories, is an excellent addition to your toybox.
