The Fun Cup offers a new take on the classic menstrual cup and was designed with comfort in mind! Made from super soft silicone, this cup can hold a heavy flow without feeling intrusive. This set includes one Size A and one Size B Fun Cup, and is ideal for those who are new to menstrual cups. Small holes around the rim create a reliable seal, and the outside is lightly textured for an easy grip. To insert a menstrual cup, start out my finding a comfy position with your legs apart -- sitting on the toilet or standing with one leg propped up on the toilet or bathtub ledge works quite well! Smoosh the lid of the cup together, and then fold the cup to make it compact. Insert the cup into the vaginal canal, while continuing to hold the edges together. Using a little lube to help it slide in makes this much more comfortable! Once you’ve pushed it in as far as it will go, release the edges so that the cup opens all the way and suctions on to the walls of the vagina, around the cervix. If this doesn’t happen immediately, try twisting the cup while bearing down. Make sure the cup is covering your cervix by swirling a finger around the sides -- you can even it a gentle tug to make sure it’s created a seal. If it has, you should be able to feel a little bit of resistance! Size A: Length: 2.1" Diameter: 1.56" Volume: 20ml Size B: Length: 2.29" Diameter: 1.7" Volume: 30ml

  1. 5 out of 5 great kit!!

    Maria

I think this is perfect for those who have really inconsistent bleeding with your periods. Even if you feel like you’re a size ‘a’, some days you really need size ‘b’ kind of protection! Great for beginners with the cup, because it’s the same price for two and you can figure out what you need and maybe pass on the one you don’t? Or keep it in hand for when your body changes 🙂

  2. 5 out of 5 Never using a tampon again!

I used to use tampons regularly during periods, but was always super conflicted with the amount of wasteful packaging that comes with any feminine product. I heard about menstrual cups, and was instantly interested. I ordered this explore kit because I wasn’t sure which size to pick. I have to say I use both fairly consistently whenever I bleed out my vagina. Sometimes I have a heavy flow and other times it’s light. There is a learning curve to using the Fun Cups, but after some trial, error and then success they work wonderfully. They’re very comfortable and I love the little storage pouch that comes with them.

  3. 5 out of 5 Say goodbye to pads and tampons

    garcia.carlo03

Was bought this kit by my boyfriend. I am pretty vocal about my distaste for tampons because I find them too wasteful and honestly uncomfortable. I was a little skeptical when I received this, but honestly love it now. Its comfortable and designed beautifully. Seriously ladies try this out it will change the way you experience your period.

I’VE BEEN USING MENSTRUAL CUPS FOR A WHILE AND MY LIFE HAS LITERALLY CHANGED SINCE. I’VE TRIED MANY AND I FIND THESE ARE VERY GOOD, BUT THE PROBLEM FOR MY ANATOMY IS THAT THE SMALLER ONE DOESN’T HAVE A GREAT CAPACITY WHILE THE BIGGER ONE IS TOO BIG FOR ME (I’M YOUNG WITH A STRONG PELVIC FLOOR). A PART FROM THIS, IT’S A GREAT ‘FIRST TIME KIT’ IF YOU’RE NOT SURE WHAT SIZE YOU NEED AND WANT TO EXPLORE.

  5. 3 out of 5 Confused

I’ve used menstrual cups for a while. They’ve worked well for me and provided the convenience I was searching for. I wanted to switch to these for the comfort of the silicone but I cannot for the life of me get the suction to work. Regardless of how much I twist, how far in it is, which way it faces, which size I use.. I can’t figure it out. I appreciate the concept of the however and can’t hate too much on the amazing brand. Maybe it’s not a beginner product

  6. 5 out of 5 Better Shape For Me

    nuclear_glitter (verified owner)

I purchased the Fun Factory cups because I was experiencing discomfort with my Diva cup. These cups have solved the discomfort issue because they’re shorter, slightly curved at the bottom and they don’t have the hard texture rings, or stem at the bottom the way the Diva cup does. I originally switched to menstrual cups because using tampons was giving me a wicked awful yeast infection every month, and it solved that problem for me.

I was confident I would be able to put these cups in because I already had years of experience with the Diva cup, but the insertion was still a little different. The Punch Fold works better than the U fold, for me; I wish I had known about it before. The B size cup is a little softer (squishier) than the A size, but only by a little. My insertion tips include lay on your bed (when you can) and use some water-based lube on the cup and yourself. Once it’s inside I noticed it’s a bit slower to fully open up but I just stand up in a wide-legged stance and then squat down, and the position changes of my body help it to open up. The method described in the item description (on this site) also works.

The cups come with a handy instruction pamphlet, and a little book explaining the benefits of cups and other information. The storage bag is really cool and closes magnetically. I also really enjoy the color options.

  7. 5 out of 5 do not use with an IUD!

    emma

I wish I had known before purchasing these that they are not compatible with IUDs because the suction they use can sometimes displace your IUD. they’re great, but do not use if you have an IUD!
