After ordering my first set of silk bamboo ropes, I knew I had to get my hands on this book and learn from the Rope queen herself. Super digestible instructions for even the more advanced ties and an art book at its core with beautifully taken photographs. Beginner friendly and welcoming!

This book is well written and includes great historical information, tips for using different types of rope and caring for rope, and safety tips. The pictures are super easy to follow -- I had never done rope bondage before, and was able to flip to one that I liked and tie it easily by following the directions. You don’t need to know any complicated knots going into it, and really don’t need to learn very complicated knots to create lovely and functional bondage. I think this book really has everything you need to get started, and you’ll be creating beautiful ties in no time!
