Girl Sex 101

This is a super fun and informational book for anyone who is a girl or loves girls. There is a definite focus on vulvas but includes sex tips for trans girls as well! I love the illustrations and the “road map” setup of the book with the story narrative woven in. A must-read for sure!

I LOVE this book! I think this is one of the most real, enjoyable, and relatable sex ed resources I've ever seen. as a sex ed teacher, I recommend it highly. my only critique is that I don't love the binary gendered language that the book uses. I appreciate that the book encourages readers from the very beginning to cross out, replace, or redefine any language that isn't working for them, but I didn't like that this still put the burden of labor on trans and nonbinary people to make room for themselves in this book. THAT SAID, this book addresses pleasure for all sorts of genitals and sexual orientations and adapts the zine fucking trans women into a source about pleasuring what is medically known as a penis in a way that is so beautiful and accessible to younger readers. this book is so, so important. buy this for the young people in your life and keep it on your shelves

this book is so inclusive and helpful. i wish everyone could read it! it not only covers sexual techniques, but how to clearly and effectively communicate, which is so important to have satisfying sex. it covers topics from flagging and talking to women, to the difference between attraction and chemistry, and even a formula for having difficult conversations.

don't be fooled by the appearance of a youthful target audience; EVERYONE can learn something important from this book, whether it's how to have sex with a trans woman or simply how to flirt.
